Passed peacefully away at the HSC on August 28, 2018, surrounded by his loving family, Calvin Cable aged 74 years. Pre-deceased by his parents, Chesley and Doris (Butler) Cable; brothers Chesley Cable Jr., and Hayward Cable; sisters Jane Cable, Edith Upshall, Olga (Willis) Fagan; and Grace (Oliver) Humpheries; parents-in-law Hazel and Wilson Eason, brother in law Wayne Eason. Leaving to give God thanks and to celebrate his life are loving wife of 45 years Greta (Eason); daughter Amanda (Greg) Taylor; son Adam (Crystal) Cable; and the joys of his life, his grandchildren Tatum Cable, Zachary and Grace Taylor; sisters in law Fanny (Charl) Taylor, and Audene Eason; and brother-in-law Sam Upshall; as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews. A sincere thank you is extended to the nurses and doctors of the CCU for their outstanding care and compassion. Resting at Hickey’s Funeral Home Thursday, August 30, 2 pm to 4pm; and 7 pm to 9 pm. A service of celebration and thanksgiving will take place at All Saints’ Anglican Church, Foxtrap on Friday, August 31 at 11 am.
