Passed suddenly away following a long and courageous battle with mental illness on August 28, 2018. Predeceased by his grandparents: Vince and Louise Norman and Alex and Dorothy Parsons. Left with fond and loving memories his beautiful daughters: Alexi and Emma, of whom he loved and adored beyond words; loving mother of his children and dear friend Valeen; his adoring partner Susan; father Vincent and step-mother Marguerite; brother Steven (Eileen); sister Karen; sister Ashley (Billy); step-brother Mike; step-brother Dave (Lisa) and step-sister Kim (Colin). Alex (Sandy) will also be missed dearly by his nephews: Devin, Tyson, Benjamin, Jonathan and JR as well as niece Aria. He also leaves behind his uncles: Glenn (Sherry), and Don (Kim); aunts: Verna (Wayne), Dottie, Sandra (Paul), Paula and numerous cousins and friends. Lastly Alex (Sandy) will be terribly missed by his best friends Rod (Cheeko) and Steve (Short) of who's friendship and support he cherished. Visitation to be held from Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Saturday from 2-9pm. Funeral service to be held at Barrett’s Mount Pearl Chapel on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow the service.
