It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marion Lidstone (nee Park) announce her passing on Thursday, August 30th, 2018 at Western Memorial Hospital at the age of 59 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband, Eugene; Mother Lavinia Park; siblings; twin sister Marina Kendell (Lou), Evelyn Sheppard (Robert), Ralph Park (Judy), Marie Childs and Howard Park (Marie); mother-in-law Vera Lidstone; brothers and sisters-in-law: Everette Lidstone (Joan), Bruce Lidstone (Theresa), Wayne Lidstone, Harold Lidstone (Judy), Bev Lidstone, Robert Lidstone (Judy), Eric Lidstone, Karen Wheeler (Sam) and Kim Fitzpatrick (Shawn); as well as a very large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her Father Gilbert Park; father-in-law Ralph Lidstone and nephew Bruce Lidstone. Visitation will take place from St. James Anglican Church, Lark Harbour on Friday evening, 7-9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m., from where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 2nd at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Effie Organ officiating. The interment will follow at St. James Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. James Church Memorial fund or to the charity of one’s choice.
