Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at Dr. Albert O’Mahony Manor, in Clarenville, Newfoundland and Labrador, on Saturday, September 1, 2018, Arthur Tilley of North West Brook, formerly of Cambridge, Ontario and Elliston, Newfoundland, aged 82 years. Predeceased by his parents Maxwell and Dorcas Tilley; his siblings Betty Baker, Nora Tilley and George Tilley. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Tish of 55 years; daughter Sandra Tilley (Shawn) and Sherri Tilley-Wanklin (Gary); grandchildren Drew, Chloe (Geoff), Brooke; siblings Bud Tilley (Marjory), John Tilley (Greta), Robert Tilley (Marie), Rose Tilly, Jill Williams, Nell Tilley (Alfred), Anne Higham (Alan) and a large number of family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service to take place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Fewer’s Memorial Chapel, Clarenville with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Queen’s Cove. In his memory, flowers accepted or donations gratefully accepted to the Dr. Albert O’Mahony Manor, Clarenville. The Tilley family would like to extend special thanks for the care and comfort Arthur received while in the care of his “extended family” at the Dr. Albert O’Mahony Manor during the last six years of his residency there.
