Jacqueline Isobel Barr, aged 73, passed away peacefully, at the Miller Centre, in St. John's on Monday, Sept. 3, 2018. Jackie was the daughter of the late Cecil and Phyllis Strong of Clarenville. Jackie is predeceased by her husband, John and sisters Joan, Vivian and Angela. She leaves to mourn her daughter Kate and son Robin; sisters Becky, Debbie, Gina, Paulette, Ruth, Vicky and their spouses; brothers Bill and Doug and a large circle of extended family including her many nieces and nephews. Jackie also leaves many friends with fond memories from her early years as a nurse and her life in Torbay. Special thanks to everyone who helped Jackie and the family during her illness including friends Lorraine, Jeff, Kathy, Wanda, Marilyn and Lynda and Tom. The family are grateful to all the staff of the Miller Centre. Their kind care and consideration for Jackie, Kate and Robin are very much appreciated. Cremation has taken place, and a private Life Celebration will take place, date to be determined. Donations in memory of Jackie can be made to Red Cross.
