Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at the Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 James Joseph Whitty, age 70 years. Predeceased by his parents Francis and Margaret, his brothers Joseph and Raymond (Kay), sisters Anna and Paula, brother-in-law Ken Williams and sister-in-law Cathy. Leaving behind to celebrate his life are his wife of 45 years, Mary (nee Roche), his sons Kenneth (Lisa) and Mark (Colleen) and his grandchildren Logan, Kolton, Emily and Chelsey, whom he loved dearly. Also leaving his siblings Mary Roche (Alfred), Theresa Gosselin (Richard), Kathleen Williams, Gerard (Marie), Br. Francis CFC and Ronald and sisters-in-law Edith and Joan (Harry Whitten) and brothers-in-law Anthony Roche (Mary-deceased) and Wayne Roche (Gertie) as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and special friend Kay Barrington. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at Caul’s Funeral Home, TORBAY, on Saturday from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p. m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral will take place on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 10 a.m. from Holy Trinity Church, Torbay with inurnment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bauline Line.
