It is with great sadness that the family of the late Larry Lehr announce his passing on Thursday September 27, 2018 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 83 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Jocelyn; sons: Larry jr., Todd (Susan) of St. John’s, Darren of Red Deer, Alberta, and Craig (Ellen) of Regina, Sask; grandchildren: Andrew (Marie), Ian, and their mother Sharon, and Joshua and Jeremy; sisters: Gladys Wheaton, Doris (Bill) Kennedy, and Jane (Cyril) Peach; brothers-in-law: Paul (Kathy), Rod (Phyllis), sisters-in-law: Rosemary (Junior), Nate (Donna), Barbara and Marie; and a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Larry was an avid gardener that took a lot of great pride in planting to make his surroundings look bright and cheery, he spent his life working as a railroader and loved and respected his railroad family very much. Larry was also an avid Habs fan who watched many games on the French channel. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday at 2: p.m. from Humber United Church with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Humber United Church or Western Memorial Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
