Passed peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, September 30, 2018, Leonard Chesley Grandy age 86 years. Predeceased by his parents: Eli and Margaret Grandy; sisters: Shirley Banfield and Lorena May (Nelson). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories son Christopher Grandy (Vanessa); daughter Denise Grandy (Carey Rolfe); grandchildren: Wyatt and Violet Grandy; best friend and companion Margaret Drake; brother Roy Grandy (Sarah); twin sister Carrie Burry (Fred-deceased); caretaker Janice Strickland; also, a number of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday from 6-9pm. Funeral service to be held from Barrett’s Chapel on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at a later date in Garnish, NL.
