The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his family at the Palliative Care Unit Community Hospital, O’Leary on Thursday October 4, 2018 of Albert "Dale" Rafferty of Woodbrook, aged 62. Born November 5, 1955, Son of the late Alvin and Edith (Milligan) Rafferty. Loving father to Leeann (Leonard) MacDonald, Bible Hill, N.S.; Lisa (Nick) Hann, Summerside; Gary (Emily), Tyne Valley and Jordan (Bailey McRae), Tyne Valley; and grandfather to Brogan, Torin and Beckett MacDonald, Knox Hann and Macie Rafferty. He is also survived by the mother of his children Sandra Rafferty, Tyne Valley. Dear brother of Darlene (Dale) Siddall, Inverness; Glenn (Debbie) Rafferty, O’Leary and Karen Rafferty, Wilmot. Sister in law Jean Rafferty, Miminegash. Predeceased by his parents, brothers Kevin and John. Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel, with visiting hours on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. Funeral will be held Monday in the Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Brigid's Cemetery, Foxley River. In memory of Dale, memorials to IWK Health Center Foundation or O’leary Community Health Foundation (Palliative Care Unit) would be appreciated.
