Enid N. Pineau Watson

1935-2018
The death of Enid Noreen (Pineau) Watson, 83, of Dieppe, occurred after a long period of failing health on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018, at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton. Born in Hope River, P.E.I., she was the daughter of the late Michael and Rose (Pineau) Pineau. She is survived by her sisters Eunice Leger (late Roger), Dieppe; Alfreda “Freda” Cormier (Valmont LeBlanc), Saint-Philippe; Cynthia Mooney (Gerard), Iona, P.E.I.; and her brother Omer “Joe” Pineau (Claudia), Hope River, P.E.I. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters Jeannette Pineau, Marie Doiron (late Ivan), and brothers Carol “Carl” Pineau (late Alma) and Roy Pineau (late Mary). After moving to New Brunswick from P.E.I. in the late 1950s, Enid worked as an administrative assistant in the insurance, petroleum, business services and legal fields in Moncton and Saint John and lived for many years on Aberdeen St. in Fredericton before relocating in 2005 to her new condominium in Dieppe to be closer to family. For the past several years, she worked as a legal secretary, most recently with lawyer John Murray in Moncton. She worked full time until the age of 80 and loved wearing stylish clothes and her beloved high heels. If you complimented her shoes, you were a friend for life. She was a generous and loving sister, aunt and friend. The family will receive condolences at Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault St., Dieppe, on Monday, Oct. 8, from 9 a.m. until time of funeral at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. A reception will follow. Memorial donations may be made to the Fondation CHU Dumont Foundation (www.chudumont.ca/en). Family condolences may be forwarded to her nephew Brian Cormier at brian@briancormier.com. Arrangements under the care of Chartersville Funeral Home, www.chartersville.com, 506-857-1901.
