It is with great sadness that the family of the late Walter Calvin Nicolle announce his peaceful passing at Bonne Bay Health Centre on Oct. 5, 2018 at the age of 79. He leaves to mourn his children Gaius (Michelle), Norine (Dan), Kerry (Janet); grandchildren: Buckley, Afton (Des), Nico, Jennifer (Brandon), Melissa (Wayne),Phillip (Erika), Danielle (Ben), Kevin (Lourdes), David (Sheena), Matthew; great-grandchildren: Kyrah, Elena, Nathan, Zachary, Carter, Nevaeh, Cody, Nicholas, Nolan, Avery, Logan, Gia, Blake, Anthonio, Vida, Naomi, Amber, Madison, Peyton; his companion and loving friend Lola Payne; his siblings: Clifford, Wilson (Joyce), Eileen, Diana, Linda (Irving), Wade (Rachel), Kevin (Karen), Lora (John), Dora (Guy), Gary (Jenine), Ernest; brother-in-law Clayton; sister-in-law Laverne; other in-laws Hazel, Lensie,Erma, Nancy, Lorraine, Hedley, Coylie, Daisy, Elaine, Dwight; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Walter was predeceased by is wife Vida; children: Buckley and Lensie; parents Harriett and Philip Nicolle; parents-in-law Hebert and Hannah Goosney; brothers George, Raymond and Jim; sisters: Irene, Shirley Pittman; brothers-in-law: Carl, Hughie, Otto, Keith; sisters-in-law: Rellie, Geneva, Olive and Geraldine. Friends and family may visit the Gospel Hall, Parsons Pond on Sunday, Oct. 7th from 7-9 pm and Monday, Oct. 8th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Gospel Hall, Parsons Pond on Tuesday, Oct. 9th at 2 pm with the service provided by David Flynn.
