It is with profound sadness and great love that we announce the passing of our Mom, Susan Veronica Lee (Bell), peacefully and surrounded by her children, at the PEI Provincial Palliative Care Centre on Tuesday, October 9, 2018. The cherished mother of twelve children, will forever be remembered for her strong will and quick wit. Our world is diminished with Mom’s passing, but we draw strength in knowing that she has been reunited with our beloved father Harold, and our dear brother, Allen. Left to mourn her passing are, her children Harold Jr., Billy (Linda), Danny (Becky Tramley), John, Clifford (Anne Marie), Ronnie (Cindy), Kevin (Sheila), Susan (Allan) Clory, Paul (Kimberly Griffith), Cathy (Robert) MacIntyre and Debbie (Paul) LeClair, daughter-in-law Wendy Lee, family friend Angus Kennedy, brother Harvey (Peggy) Bell, brother-in-law Jim Lee and sister-in-law Joyce Murray. She will be also missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Matthew (Monica), Becky (Mike) MacDonald, Erin (Rodney) Blanchard (Fredericton, N.B.), Lauren, Adam, Owen (Jennifer), Jamie, Patrick, Elizabeth (Richard) Banks, Victoria, Joey, Eddie, Josh Clory (Ottawa, Ontario), Matthew Clory, Michael Clory, Spencer (Jenna), Justin, Mark, Jacob, Amanda MacIntyre and Andrew MacIntyre. Susan is also survived by and will be fondly remembered by her many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Susan was predeceased by her soul mate and cherished husband of 65 years Harold, , dear son Allen, parents John Owen "Chuck" and Beatrice (Berrigan) Bell, parents-in-law Matthew and Catherine (Blanchard) Lee, sisters Mary Bell and Annie (Louie) Lafferty, brother-in-law Clifford (Lorraine) Lee, and Reginald Murray, sisters-in-law Eleanor (Vince) Shea, Florence (Victor) Clow, Virginia (David) Younker and Patsy Lee. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Saturday morning, then transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of PEI.
