It is with sadness that we announce the sudden unexpected passing of Robert Alvin Hollings on Saturday, October 13, 2018 while surrounded and supported by his loving and devoted family members. Born on February 3, 1955 in Campbellford, Ontario he was the son of the late Alvin and Laverne (nee Sheridan). Beside his parents, Robert was predeceased by special niece Gracey in 2012 and friend Jim Walsh. Robert will be forever loved and missed by his devoted wife Rose (nee Moores) of 37 years, sons Jeff, Cody, special companion Puppy Riley, brother Albert “Bud” (Barb), sister Peggy (Bobby) Duck, sisters-in-law Kay Moores, Mary (Verno) Hayes, brothers-in-law Charles (Barbara), Roger, Greg (Eunice), a large circle of nieces, nephews and extended family, special friends Bert Hynes, Paul Foley, Tom Finley, Al Crotty, Jeff and Gerard Walsh, golf buddy Terry Upshall, and the boys of MIR whom Robert had a close working relationship, including all those who had the privilege of coming in contact with Robert on a daily basis and calling him friend. In keeping with Roberts personal wishes, a private family visitation will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family greatly appreciated from which the family will make a community donation in Robert's memory.
