Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex surrounded by her loving family on October 17, 2018 of Topsail, age 96 years. Predeceased by her husband George and grandson Jason Whelan. Left with fond and loving memories sons: Brian (Maria), Darrell (Carole Anne), grandchildren: Brad and Angie. Also, a large circle of family and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Friday & Saturday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. & 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from Topsail United Church, Topsail on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 2 p.m. Interment in the United Cemetery, Topsail.
