Camilla Fraser
It is with sadness that the family of Camilla Anne Fraser, age 68 of Glace Bay, announce her passing on October 19, 2018 at Palliative Care, CBRH. Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Alice (Betty) Pastuck.
Camilla was a strong, independent, and creative woman who put her family and friends first. Throughout her life, she had a very successful career with Southland Corporation. At an early age, Camilla began her battle with MS. Throughout her battle, she never forgot the important things in her life and continued to provide support and encouragement to all those who came into her path.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Leo Fraser of 51 years; sons, Bernie Fraser (Berta), Glenn Fraser (Misty, Lori); brothers, John Weyman (Susan) and Bob Pastuck (Jan); sisters, Wendy Pastuck and Wanda Lacroix (Danny); five grandchildren, Christine, Darren, Bailee, Eric and Alicia, and great-granddaughter, Sophia.
Beside her mother, Camilla was predeceased by sisters, Patsy Parsons and Carol Seeley.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to TJ Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay. (902-849-4199) Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 23 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., with a funeral service to follow immediately at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Anne’s cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Camilla’s memory can be made to the MS Society of Nova Scotia.
