The family of the late Ethel Picco wish to acknowledge and thank the many acts of kindness shown at the recent passing of our mom, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Heartfelt appreciation to the staff and residents at St. Patrick's Mercy Home. Although Mom was only a resident for 16 months, she thrived, enjoying the many programs available, especially Therapeutic music exercises, choir and sports. The laughs she had with the entire staff made her day every day. You will never know proud we were to see Mom enjoy herself and smile so much.

Thank you to the staff at North Pond Manor who helped Mom adjust to life in a Seniors home.

We wish to thank Carnell's for their caring professionalism on preparing Mom for her next journey.

To all our family, friends and co-workers who wrote messages on-line, through Facebook, e-mails, sent cards, phone calls, visited the funeral home, sent food and made donations in Mom's name, we appreciate them all.

Thank you to Mary Burt and The Royal Canadian Legion for hosting the celebration of Mom's life. Thank you to Rev. Barter, Deb Hawksley and the St. Lawrence Anglican Church for a beautiful service.

To our brother, Eddy, you did an outstanding heartfelt tribute to our Mom.
Everyone's support at this difficult time was very much appreciated and of great comfort to us.
