They say that time heals
But as time goes on
I seem to find it just as hard
To face the fact, you’re gone.
And today’s the anniversary
Of the day you went away.
We cannot halt the hand of time
Or live again in the past
Within our hearts are memories
That will forever last.
Of all the special things in life
However great or small
To have you as my husband
Was the greatest gift of all.
Forever loved by wife, Susan, children, family and friends.
I wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to Fillmore Whitman Funeral Home especially to Andrew and Jennifer for their professionalism and compassion, also for all who sent flowers, food, cards, and to Local 682 for their help and compassion. To the ladies of St. Leonard for their luncheon, choir and Fr. Ray Huntley for his kindness and compassion. Words cannot express how much it was appreciated.
