It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lori Lee Baggs, age 55 on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Glace Bay, Lori is the daughter of Eleanor (Martin) Boozan and the late Mick Boozan.
Years ago, Lori was a lunch / grounds attendant at the Glace Bay Elementary School. She loved children as well as a good game of cards and darts. Lori adored her fur baby cat, Sophee.
Besides her mother, Eleanor, Lori is survived by her husband, Terry Baggs; her brother, Carey (Valerie); niece, Whitney (Daniel); nephew, Carey Jr. (Kait); two grandnephews, Beau and Cavan and her special friend, Joan (Devison) McDonald.
Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 12th at 11 a.m. in the V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home Chapel, 16 Reserve St., Glace Bay with Fr. Duaine Devereaux officiating.
Donations may be made to the Cancer Centre at the CBRH, Sydney.
