Edna Kathleen MacAuley
The death occurred suddenly at her late residence on Monday, November 19th, 2018 of Edna Kathleen MacAuley of Miscouche, aged 88 years. Edna was born in Brooklyn, PE to the late Russell and Ruth (Oliver) Lewis. Survived by her children Marilyn Pierce, Pennsylvania, Mike Straw, Miscouche and Linda (Straw) Rochford of Summerside, her grandchildren Dustin, Dean, Hallie and Katelyn and her beloved dog Lily. Besides her parents Edna was predeceased by her husband’s Robert Pierce, Wesley Straw, Harold Dawe and Robert MacAuley and siblings Helen Lewis in infancy and Gordon Lewis. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Sunday, November 24th, where a funeral service will be held at the Summerside Nazarene Church at 3:00 p.m. Interment to take place at a later date in People’s Cemetery, Summerside. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Edna’s memory to the PEI Humane Society or the Salvation Army’s soup kitchen would be greatly appreciated.
