The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, December 1, 2018, with her loving family by her side, of Beverley Ann Hogan, beloved wife of Brian J. Hogan of Hogan Road, Tignish, age 61 years. Born on May 2, 1957, she was the daughter of Hilda Mary (nee Keough) and the late Bennett Robert Keefe, and special granddaughter to the late Freda Keefe. Loving sister to Pauline (late Robert) Arsenault of Skinners Pond, Francine (James) Knox of Skinners Pond, Helen Marie (Dean) Gaudet of York, and Brian (Bertie) Keefe of Brampton, Ont. She is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, Freda Kinch of Tignish, Wilbert (Irene) Hogan of Tignish, Sylvia MacDonald of Summerside, Susan Boyce of Summerside, Florence Hogan of Tignish, Victor (Diane) of Mill River, Roy (Edith) Hogan of Summerside, Barry Irvine of Mississauga, Ont., and Chris (James) Gallant of Charlottetown. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, friends and acquaintances. She was predeceased by brothers and sisters-in-law, Adrian Kinch, Clifford (Marie) Hogan, Robert MacDonald, Ronald Boyce, Richard Hogan, Paula Irvine, Wilma (Roger) Mallett, Kenneth Hogan, and Mike Hogan. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home & Chapel, Alberton for visiting hours Tuesday evening 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Wednesday morning December 5th, from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. John Molina, celebrant. Interment in the church cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorials in Bev's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be gratefully appreciated. The Tignish council of the C.W.L will have prayers for their departed member Tuesday evening at 5:45 p.m. www.rooneyh.ca
