Passed away suddenly but peacefully at the Health Science Complex on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, Francis Joseph Hearn, aged 71 years. Predeceased by his parents Raymond and Mary Hearn and sister Geraldine Fitzgerald. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of loving memories, his devoted daughter Bobbie, son-in-law Keith Bemister, his two precious and much-loved grandsons Tristan and Hayden, Sisters Carmelita (Halifax, NS) and Clare (Charles Oldford), Kanata, Ontario; Brothers Brian (Melvie), St. John's and Ray (Virginia, USA); brother-in-law Leon Fitzgerald; Nephews Christopher and Joseph, nieces Krista, Clare, Lisa, Tina, Mary, and Amanda; plus many grandnephews and grandnieces who helped to enrich Frank's life. Throughout his lifetime Frank made countless friends from all walks of life. His biggest passions: music, flowers, art and antiques, provided him with much joy and satisfaction. The floral displays, arrangements and flower gardens that adorned his downtown houses were a constant source of admiration from passers-by and Frank was always willing to chat with anyone who stopped by. His love of music ranged from Opera to Irish tenors, and from Symphonic masterpieces to Blues and Jazz. Frank will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will take place at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Friday, December 7th, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 8th, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Funeral service will be held from Caul's Chapel on Monday December 10th at 12 p.m. Flowers gratefully accepted, or donations may be made in Frank’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
