The death occurred peacefully with family at her side at The Mount Continuing Care Community, Charlottetown, on Monday, December 10, 2018, of Georgina Blacquiere (nee LeClair), beloved wife the late Vincent Blacquiere, formerly of North Rustico, aged 97. Georgina was the loving mother of Camilla Doucet (Norm deceased), David (Linda), Ronnie (Irene), Donnie (Mary), Paul (Shelly), Joanne Doucette (Bobby), Carl (Laura) and Eric (Paula); grandmother of Tracey and Darren; Jamie and Krista; Ashley and Johanna; Scott, Robert (deceased) and Michelle; Dylan, Daniel and Dorian; Jillian and Katlyn; and Gabrielle and Noah; and great-grandmother of 18. She is also survived by her brother, Edgar; and sisters, Yvonne, Annette, Rose Marie and Alvyre. Besides her husband Vincent, Georgina was predeceased by her parents George and Emma LeClair; and brothers, Leo and Eric. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Thursday, December 13, 2018, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The CWL will hold a prayer service prior to the visitation at 1:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, North Rustico, on Friday, December 14, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Stella Maris Cemetery at a later date.
