Reverend ‘Al’ Skinner born October 08, 1938, died at the Royal Jubilee Hospital on December 14, 2018, surrounded by the love of family and staff.
He leaves behind a rich legacy of compassion, wisdom and love.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Iona (Stern); daughter, Andrea; and son, Ian (Shera). He will be greatly missed by his sister, Dianne (Graeme) Fownes, as well as his extended family.
A Celebration of Al’s life will be held at Cordova Bay United Church Friday, January 25 at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cardiovascular Unit at the Royal Jubilee Hospital would be appreciated.
