A much loved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, cousin and friend passed away surrounded by family at Pleasant View Towers on Friday, January 4, 2019. Predeceased by wife Patricia; infant son Michael Paul; parents James and Mary Ellen (Lacey) Gosse; brother Tom; sisters Sister Marie RSM, Sarah Guanci, Ethel Halley and Sister Perpetua RSM. Leaving to mourn his children Paula (Joe Power), Shelly (Brenda), Gary (Gail), Rod (Carolyn), Jim, Derrick (Jackie), Jennifer (Kevin Manning), Stephen (Tara) and Michael (Jean-Marc); 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters Josephine Guanci, Kay Organ; sister-in-law Anne Gosse, many cousins and dear friends. Special thanks, at this time are extended to the exceptional staff of 3SW at Pleasant View Towers. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Sunday and Monday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 10 a.m. from Holy Trinity Church, Torbay. Inurnment to follow at Belvedere Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted, or donations in his memory may be made to The Gathering Place or a charity of one’s choice.
