Peacefully on her 92nd birthday at her late residence on Friday, January 4, 2019 of Esther Pearl Gauthier (Bennett) from Fortune Bridge, PE. Loving mother to Kasandra Harfield, Bob Bennett, David Bennett, Stuart Bennett and stepmother to the Gauthier kids Randy, Donnie, Audrey, Judy and Alan. Dear grandmother to Pauline Paquet, Alannah Grohne, Elissa Grohne, Bobbie Jo Bennett-Goodwin, Shannon Bennett, and Kelly Ann Lanyi-Bennett. Survived by sisters Kay Mooney (Lorne), Teresa Robertson, brothers Albert and Eric Robertson and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by her husband’s James Bennett and Edward Gauthier and brothers Charlie, Jimmy, Edward, Freddy, Donnie Robertson and sister Lillian Jarvis (Dingwell). Esther will be forever known for her gentle spirit and kindness towards friends, family, the community and surrounding areas. Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home with visiting hours on Monday, January 7, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A funeral will be celebrated at the Bay Fortune United Church on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 11:00am. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
