1948-2019
The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital on Sunday, January 6, 2019, with his loving wife by his side, of Claude Joseph Cormier, beloved husband of Linda Mary (nee Handrahan) Cormier of Waterford, P.E.I., age 70 years. Born on July 21, 1948, he was the son of Elaine (nee Gallant) Cormier of the Tignish Seniors Coop Home, and the late Ray Cormier. Loving father to Cory (Charlotte) of Lockport, Nova Scotia, and cherished grandfather to Lexi, Tucker and Bryce Cormier. Dear brother to Pat (Carmie) of Summerside, Bruce of Waterford, Marlene (David) Aylward of Pleasant View, and Marie (James) Arsenault of Pleasant View. Also survived by sister-in-law, Christine Cormier of Pleasant View. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, and by his many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his father Ray and by a brother James. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home & Chapel, Alberton. No visitation by personal request.
