On January 8, 2019 peacefully at home with her loving family by her side, the death occurred of Mary “Helen” (Gram) Murray of Borden-Carleton in her 91st year. Helen was the daughter of the late George and Florence Sherry of Fernwood. She leaves behind her devoted children Allan (Penny), Linda Richardson (Reid), Leona Murphy (Paul), Dale (Earlene), Carl (Cindy), Mary Ellen, Marilyn Campbell (John), her grand-children Matthew, Mark, Nicholas Murray, Scott and Andy Murphy, Amanda Thomas, Patrick and Nathan Murray, Kaitlin MacPhail, Whitney, Bradley and Jacob Murray, Brandon and Matthew Bagnall, Ryan and Carly Campbell. Her great grand-children, Jax, Ryder and Wyatt Thomas, Quinn, Hudson, Reese Murray and Adalyn Murphy. Helen is also survived by sisters-in-law Patricia Sherry, Betty Richard, Ruth Adams (Emmett), Elaine Murphy (Frank), Myrna and Iris Murray and brother-in-law Jack Murray (Edie) and many nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her husband Arnold, a daughter in infancy, son Eric, grandson Joseph Louis Murray, her brothers and sisters Brendan (Vera), Kathleen Murphy (Joe), Rowan (Mae), Edgar (Frances) and Lloyd, by her brothers-in-law Mervin, Gerald, Tom, Louis, Justin and Stan Richard. Visitation at Kinkora Place, Kinkora, PEI, on Friday, January 11 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. On Friday, St. Peter’s CWL will say prayers at 1:45 pm before visitation. By Helen’s personal request, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Peter’s Church Cemetery Fund, Chapman Center at Summerset Manor, or a charity of choice would be gratefully appreciated. Funeral will be held on Saturday, January 12 at 1:30 pm at St. Peter’s Church, Seven Mile Bay. Interment will be held at a later date in the church cemetery.
