The death occurred suddenly at the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute, Edmonton, Alberta, on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, of Robert Paul Lewis, formerly of Union, P.E.I., age 57 years. Born at Summerside on March 11, 1961, he was the son of Ruth Pauline (nee Kristiansen) of Bedeque and the late Henry Allan Lewis. Dear brother to Erskine (Darlene) of Lower Freetown, Brian (Christine) of Travellers Rest, Anita (Darryl) Rayner of Cascumpec, Nancy (Mike) Sobey of Millet, Alberta, and James (Arlene) of Summerside. He will be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father Henry Allan Lewis in 2017, siblings Glen and Tracy, and by grandparents John and Mary (nee Smith) Lewis and Paul and Jean (nee Compton) Kristiansen. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton, for visiting hours Monday, January 14, 2019, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Tuesday morning, January 15, 2019, from the E. Gerald Rooney Memorial Chapel at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Darroch Fagan officiating. Interment in the family plot in the Baptist Cemetery, Union.
