Judy Robena Ruth Austin - age 77 of Stellarton passed away on January 13, 2019 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow she was a daughter of the late William and Wanda (Corney) Hepburn.
Judy had been a resident of Stellarton most of her life. She was an active member of Christ Anglican Church where she was a member of the ACW. She had been employed at the Evening News from where she retired after 43 years.
Surviving are her daughter Cathy (James) Rector, MacLellan’s Mountain; son Douglas “David”, Middle Sackville; brothers-in-law Hubert Conway, Pictou; Bob (Mary) Austin, Westville; and Wayne (Donna) Austin, Stellarton; sister-in-law Gloria Austin, Hammonds Plains.
She was predeceased by her husband Doug and a step-sister Beradine.
The family will receive friends from 10 am until 10:45 am in Christ Anglican Church, Stellarton from where funeral service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, January 19, 2019. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. A reception will follow in the church hall.
Donations in her memory may be made to the SPCA or Christ Anglican Church, Stellarton.
