WESTVILLE
Olive Marguerite Munro, age 100 years, of Glen Haven Manor, formerly from Westville passed away February 8, 2019.

Born in Union Centre on September 28, 1918, Olive was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (MacLeod) Munro.

Olive was a member of St. Paul United Church, Westville, a former member of St. Paul U.C.W. and Eastern Star Lodge.

She was a secretary for many years at R. MacGregor and Sons, New Glasgow.

Olive is survived by her nephew Albert (Evie) Munro, who looked after her needs while a resident of Glen Haven Manor for the past 12 years, and by several nieces and nephews.

She is the last remaining member of her immediate family having been predeceased by sisters Isabel Balfour, Mary “Mamie” Jardine; and brothers, Carleton, William, Albert, Robert and Allison.

Olive is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting on Monday from 1-2 p.m. followed by her funeral service at 2 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Mary Taylor officiating. Spring burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. www.eaglesfuneralhome.ca
