Peter Gerard Dennis
The family of Peter Gerard Dennis sadly announce his passing on February 20, 2019, in Sydney. He is the son of the late Martin Sr. and Martha (Sylliboy) Dennis.
He was a member of the Holy Family Parish in Eskasoni. Peter enjoyed fishing, baseball, skating and loved watching hockey, no matter who won. Peter is survived by his sons, Brian Martin and Peter Martin, his grandchildren, Dean Johnson, Emma, Kylie and Freddy Martin; his sisters, Mary Lee Dennis, Bridget Rose Christmas, Ester Marie (Tom) Clair, Jessie Dennis and Linda May Googoo as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Peter is predeceased by his parents, brothers, Noel, John Joseph and Martin Dennis, and brothers-in-law, Michael Christmas and Sunny Googoo.
Visitation will be held at the Gabriel Center in Eskasoni, on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, after 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 28, 2019, at the Holy Family Parish in Eskasoni, at 10:30 a.m., with Fr. Martin McDougall presiding. A Salite will follow.
