Donald Gallant
Donald Francis Gallant, 72, of Summerside, P.E.I., passed away Tuesday February 26th, 2019, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside surrounded by family. Donald was born in Portage, P.E.I. to the late John and Lena Gallant. Beloved husband of Denise Bevan and loving father of Kimberley Gallant of Mississauga, ON., Dawn Gallant Beato (Vito) of Toronto ON., Lori Gallant-Henry (Jonathan) of Alliston, ON, and step-father to Cory Bevan of Summerside P.E.I., April Bevan (Jason) of Stratford P.E.I. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Grace, Julia, Laura, Lincoln, Callen, Reid, James, Caleb, great Granddaughter Bella, and several nieces and nephews. Survived by his brothers and sisters Ken Gallant, Edward (Gillian) Gallant, Florence (Clarence) Gailliott, Francis (Donna) Gallant, Phyllis (Ross) Wells, Larry O'Brien and brother-in-law Art Arsenault. Predeceased by his brothers Leonard Gallant, Paul Gallant and sisters Sheila Gallant, Rita MacIssac, Patsy Arsenault and Eva Kilbride. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside where a funeral service will be held Friday March 1st, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Memorial donations in Donald’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Interment will take place at a later date.
