LeBLANC, Mildred Annette “Midge” – age 72, South Belleville, Yarmouth Co., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. Born May 28, 1946 in Woodvale, she was a daughter of the late Joe Boudreau and Alma (Melanson) Surette. Midge was retired from a nursing career, having worked as a PCW and eventually upgrading to LPN, caring for residents at Tidal View Manor. She enjoyed quilting, knitting and Frenchy shopping and she was a member of Patchwork Pals quilting group. She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph “Joe” LeBlanc, as well as by her children, Glen Boudreau, Arcadia; Danny LeBlanc (Melissa), Lantz; Mark (Nicole) LeBlanc, Belleville/Yellowknife; Annette LeBlanc (Lee), Tusket; step-sons, David LeBlanc, Alaska; Allen LeBlanc, California; grandchildren, Jeff, Julie, Riley, Carter, Austin, Adam, Abby, Justin and Bailey; great grandchildren, Aubrey and Charlie. Also surviving are siblings, Gerry Boudreau, Ronnie Boudreau, Anne Morris, Joey Boudreau and Kevin Surette. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by a step-son, Paul LeBlanc and a brother, Bernard Boudreau. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A celebration of life will take place from 2-5 p.m., Thursday, March 21 at Le Club Acadien in Ste. Anne-du-Ruisseau. Donations in memory of Midge may be made to the Yarmouth Hospital Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Gilles Boudreau and Friends Cancer Help Fund.
