The family announces the passing of Marlene Hiscock on Mon., March 18 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Sted and Bridget (Hill) Hiscock.
She worked at McFadgen's Bakery until her retirement in 1999. She enjoyed watching T.V., movies and listening to music.
Marlene is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Justin) Rose, whom she adored; siblings, Meta, NF, Eugene (Helen), Donald, Bridget (Charles) Bowering, all of ON; several nieces and nephews, as well as her fur babies, Benji, Dora, Patches and Precious.
She was predeceased by brother, John James in infancy.
Visitation will be held Thurs., March 21, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral service will take place 11 a.m. Fri., March 22 with Fr. Boudreau officiating, all taking place at T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, (902-849-4199)
