Jason Hennessey, 44, of Hampshire PEI, passed away suddenly at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB on Monday, April 22, 2019. Born in Charlottetown, he was the spouse of Kandice Loughran, and the son of John Hennessey and the late Myrtle MacGregor. Jason was a truck driver for J&C Ventures/Midland Transport. He had spent his career driving transport trucks and as a trained diesel mechanic operating heavy equipment. Jason’s primary love was Kandice, his family and his friends. Jason was a friend to all. His big personality and sense of humor made the world a better place. He was always ready with a joke or an impression to brighten your day, and his caring, generous nature endeared him to many. Jason will be greatly missed by his loving family; spouse Kandice Loughran of Hampshire, PE; father, John Hennessey (Josie) of Riverview, NB; parents-in-law Ernie & Eileen Loughran of Hampshire, PE; brother Dean Hennessey (Rachel) of Riverview, NB; brother Rodney Hennessey (Sarah) of Edmonton, AB; brother-in-law Jake Loughran of Hampshire, PE; brother-in-law Chad Loughran (Brittany) of Cornwall, PE; cherished nieces and nephews: Moriah, Olivia, Lauren, Kayleigh, Alexander, Harrison, Kylie, Wyatt and Emily; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Jason is predeceased by his mother, Myrtle MacGregor (2015). Visitation will be held at Belvedere Funeral Home, 175 Belvedere Avenue, Charlottetown, PE from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, April 26th.A gathering to celebrate Jason’s life will be held at Belvedere Funeral Home on Saturday, April 27th at 10:00am. Internment is postponed until a later date. In Jason’s memory, donations to Stars for Life Foundation for Autism, where Kandice works, or to the charity of the donor’s choice, would be appreciated.
