The death occurred at the PEI Atlantic Baptist Home on Friday, April 26, 2019 of Joan Victoria Dingwell (nee Arnold) of Charlottetown and formerly of Bristol age, 87 years. Dear mother of Sterling (Lynn) and Susan Dingwell (Ted). Sister of Olga Reid. Grandmother of Tiffany. Survived by numerous nieces, nephews and by her dear friends Ella Somers (Allan) and roommate Mary Carr. Predeceased by her son Leslie, sisters Sylvia Lawrence, Faith Steeves, Shirley Leeco and brothers Harrison and Edward Arnold. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 10:00-10:45 a.m. followed by funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Midgell Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
