It is with sadness that we announce the death of Walter "Allison" Green of Florenceville-Bristol, NB that occurred on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born September 27, 1939 in Woodstock, NB he was the son of the late Walter and Sarah "Sally" (Bell) Green. He was also predeceased by his sister, Edna DeMerchant (Lawrence) and his niece, Connie DeMerchant. Allison is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Casey; 3 daughters, Camile Markey (Paul), Cindy Campbell (John), Donna MacLean (Shawn); 7 grandchildren, Jamie Smith (Carrie), Dallas Fortin (Marc), Christine Campbell, Brandon Campbell (Heidi), Robin Campbell, Cloe MacLean and Ryan MacLean; 8 great grandchildren, Claire, Reid, Xavier, Elliott, Emily, Celena, Maxwell and Cohan; 1 nephew, David DeMerchant as well as several cousins. Visitation will be held from L. R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 5-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 2:00 pm from the Church of the Good Shepherd, Florenceville-Bristol. The Rev. Robert LeBlanc will officiate. The interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
