On Jan. 30/19 family and friends gathered at Holy Cross Church to celebrate the life of Sr. Ellen Donovan. Along with the Sisters of Charity, we her family would like to extend sincere thanks to everyone who supported us at this difficult time. To the Manager and staff of Foodland G.B., Allison MacDonald, paramedics, doctors and nurses at C.B.R.H. our deepest gratitude. For many cards, flowers, phone calls, emails, donations and meals - thank you. Father Paul MacGillivray, thank you for your visits and administering the Sacrement of the sick. To all those who participated in the liturgy - Frs. MacPhee, MacDow, Boudreau, Andrea, Crispo and Doucette, the altar servers, readers, Eucharistics Ministers and the magnificent choir, also the Reception Committee, our sincere appreciation.
Trevor Tracey, Debbie, Wendy and staff at Tracey's home your guidance was a comfort. Pallbearers, thank you all for bringing Sr. Ellen to her final resting place. Special thanks to our nieces and nephews, our Poirier and Donovan cousins, Sr. Marie MacPherson and friends who travelled to be with us. You'll never know how much your presence meant to us. Marie Doyle, you were more than Sr. Ellen's cousin, you were her friend thank you for staying with us and praying with us. Sr. Martha and Sr. Melda, no words to thank you enough. Anne Marie Boutilier, many thanks. To the Associates of the Sisters of Charity, blessings for your love and support.
