Peacefully at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre on Thursday, May 9, 2019 of Reg Affleck of Charlottetown and formerly of Mt. Stewart age 75 years. Born in Mt. Stewart he is the son of the late James "Jimmy" and Eileen (MacDonald) Affleck. Beloved husband of Terri Gallant. Dear father of Carla and proud Grampy of Braiden. Stepfather of Jamie and Michael Pollard and Lisa Aitken. Brother of Joe (Dotty), Terry (Mae), Fred (Donna), Earl (Mary), Donald (Janet), Mary (Terry) Day, Bertha (Arthur) Dennis, Pauline (Peter) Hager and brother-in-law of Betty Affleck. Reg will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and in-laws. He was predeceased by infant son George, brother Bruce, sister Gerry (Austin) McQuaid and first wife Frances Campbell. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home for visiting hours on Saturday, May 11th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be held on Monday, May 13th with funeral mass from St. Andrew’s Church, Mt. Stewart at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Andrew’s Parish Cemetery, Mt. Stewart. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to the Provincial Palliative Care Centre.
