William Patrick "Billy" Doyle
It is with great sadness the family wish to announce the passing of their husband, father, grandfather and brother, William “Billy” Doyle on May 22, 2019, at the New Waterford Consolidated Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Born August 21, 1940, he was the son of the late Joseph and Alice (Drake) Doyle. Billy was a retired coal miner, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, he had a passion for food, enjoying every morsel he put in his mouth, family meant everything to him, especially his grandchildren and time spent with his brothers Aussie and Pat.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley (MacLellan); daughter, Ann Marie (Paul) Murphy; brothers, Art (Emily), Austin “Aussie” (Terrina), Pat (Frances); grandchildren, Erin, Doyle, Meagan and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was also predeceased by sister Elizabeth; brothers, Kevin and Johnny.
Cremation has taken place and a Funeral Mass will be held Monday, May 27, 2019, at 10 a.m., in the Parish of Saint Leonard, Mt. Carmel Ave. with Father Ray Huntley officiating, followed by a luncheon in the parish hall, Convent St, all are welcome. Burial at a later date.
