The family of the late Edith Margaret Blakeney, a long-time resident of Stellarton, is hosting a Celebration of Life ceremony for Edith on July 6, 2019. Edith passed away on October 16, 2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital after a brief residency at Glen Haven Manor and was interred at Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. A brief remembrance ceremony, officiated by Reverend Charles MacPherson, will be held at Heatherdale Memorial Gardens at 11:00 a.m. followed by an informal luncheon reception at noon at the Hector Room Holiday Inn Express. Friends, family and well-wishers are invited to join the family for lunch and to share memories of Edith.
