The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Friday, June 28, 2019, with her loving family by her side, of Anna Benedykta Iwankiewciz of Tignish, PEI, aged 70 years. Beloved wife of the late Frank J. Bernard, who predeceased her in 2010. Born at Seaford, ON, on February 21, 1949, she was the daughter of Mary (nee Feldo) and the late Petro Iwankewyiz. Dear sister to Catherine Ladd of Nobleton, ON, Helen Grierson of Bolton, ON, Zenon Iwankiewyiz of Woodbridge, ON, Dora Petracca (deceased) of Everett, ON, and Irene Christian of Bolton, ON. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and Sheila Bernard of Tignish, Eugene and Anne Bernard of Christophers Cross, Hazel and Ed Domaracki of Alberton, and Darlene Perry of Summerside. Anna will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, friends and aquaintances. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. Visiting hours Sunday, June 30, 2019, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Monday morning, July 1st from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. John Molina, celebrant.
