Florence Catherine (Nolan) MacNeil
On May 4, 2019, our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Florence Catherine (Nolan) MacNeil, went home to heaven. We want to thank the wonderful staff at the Northside Guest Home and the staff of the ER and on the 5th Floor of the Northside General Hospital, Dr. Alexander Wawer, and special thanks to Mom’s long time family doctor, Dr. John Kirkpatrick.
Thank you to Fr. Doug MacDonald for the beautiful Funeral Mass. Thanks also to Goddaughter, Donna Deleskie, and great-granddaughter, Samantha Piercey, for reading, son, Joseph, along with Boyd MacNeil and Steven MacNeil for the beautiful music, Archie Gillis as Eucharistic Minister, Jamie Gouthro as Altar Server, and to the Pallbearers, close friends, Darren Musgrave and Jamie McGillivray Jr., granddaughters, Tracy MacIntyre and Amy MacIntyre, and great-grandsons, Alex MacIntyre and Andrew Piercey.
Thank you to all those who came to St. Mary's Church before the Funeral Mass and to all those who helped with the lovely lunch after Mass at the Frenchvale Volunteer Fire Department. To Danny Campbell and Peter Walsh and the staff at W.J. Dooley’s Funeral Home, thank you for your professionalism and compassion.
And, to our dear friends and family, for providing comfort, food, phone calls, Mass and sympathy cards, messages of condolence, donations in Mom’s memory to St. Mary’s Parish – we thank you so very much. Your kindness will not be forgotten.
