Paul and Rachel Littlejohn
Card of Thanks
Littlejohn
Exactly 5 years ago, Greg Morrow of the RCMP in Hay River, North West Territories informed us that after a 7 ½ week search they had found the remains of our beautiful daughter, Rachel, age 37. Just over 4 weeks ago, we were informed that our son, Paul age 47, had been killed in a Motor Vehicle accident in Thailand.
We are way beyond heart-broken and devastated.
What has helped us cope with these tragedies has been the support and comfort of our friends. All the folks at the Whitney Pier Writing group, including Christine MacKinnon, Sandra Dunn, Maura Lea and Colleen Gillis, who read Poems at the Celebration of Life for Rachel and Paul, as well as our good friend Charlene Cadden-Power, have been a comfort and tower of strength for us.
Our family has drawn close in support and love. Though scattered around the globe, their love could be felt as if they were near.
We could not have got through this last few weeks without the help of Blair Slade and Kenny MacGillvray of Glace Bay. Thanks also to Sherin Paul, the MacGillvray family of New Waterford and to all those who helped to make our Celebration of Life ceremony a true celebration of the life of our children.
To the dozens of people who offered their condolences, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
No matter the years, no matter the distance,
they will always be our babies in our hearts.
Love from Vic and Wendy Littlejohn
