We the family of the late Darrell 'Bat' Burke who passed on May 20, 2019 wish to express our gratitude to the many people who made the celebration of his life such a memorable event. Thank you to all who attended the visitation and funeral, sent Mass and sympathy cards, flowers, made donations, and brought food to our homes. To Fr. Lamey, Deacon Robert Coleman, the readers, the choir, and CWL for a beautiful lunch. Kollin and staff at Sydney Memorial Chapel, Dr. Kate MacInnis and the nurses in Hematology and Medical Day Unit at the Cancer Centre. Dr. Steve MacDougall for taking great care of Darrell over the years. To our friends and family who lifted our spirits during this difficult time, your kindness will not be forgotten. Darrell may you now be pain free and know that you are deeply missed but not forgotten.
