MANSFIELD-VANEMBER, Anita Mary – 82 of Kingston, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2019 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Delphine (Saulnier) Deveau. In earlier years, Anita was employed at a day care center, a nursing home and also at the former Metropolitan Store as a sales person. She has been a 12 year member of the Kingston Lionettes and volunteered many years with the Greenwood Health Auxiliary and blood donor clinics. Anita is survived by daughters Theresa (Pat) Donovan, Dartmouth, Brenda (Lawrence) Moody, Wilmot NS and Susan (Don) Cowie, Belleville, Ont.; Sons Gary (Cheryl) Boudreau, Lawrencetown, Anna Co. and Michael Boudreau, Brampton, Ont.; sisters Brenda (Jr.) Clayton, Yarmouth and Sharon (Donald) Vacon, Quinan, Yarmouth Co.; brothers Gerald (Julie) Deveau, Yarmouth, Clarence (Jackie) Deveau, Ottawa, Marshall Deveau and Arnold Deveau, both of Brampton, Ont.; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband Henry Boudreau, second husband Joe Mansfield and third husband Norman VanEmber, also sisters Muriel, Ethelene, Betty and Roselyn as well as a brother Leon. By request, cremation has taken place. A Funeral mass was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2019 in St. Monica’s Roman Catholic Church, Middleton with Father Keith Billard officiating. A reception followed the service in the Parish Hall. Service details regarding the interment will be published in her online obituary when available.
