Today, July 27, 2019 would have been Dad’s 100th birthday. Dad left us May 30, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all our relatives and friends for their kindness and support shown to us during our time of loss. To those that traveled long distances, provided food, gave sympathy cards and charitable donations in Dad’s memory, sent flowers, and for the many kind words of comfort and support, we are deeply grateful and will never forget your kindness. Thank you to Father Bill Burke, to the choir and organist for a beautiful service. A special thank you to Wendy Bergfeldt, for playing the Last Post. Thank you to T.W. Curry Funeral Home for their care and service. Thank you for the amazing care and compassion provided by the Palliative Care Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. A special thank you to all the care givers from City Homemakers.
