John Daniel "Danny" Ryan
It is with tremendous gratitude that we the family of the late John Daniel (Danny) Ryan wish to convey our sincere appreciation to all who showed love, care and respect, brought food, and participated in the final funeral arrangements. Danny would have been both honored and humbled to know how many people loved him, how many took the time out of their busy lives to pay their respect. We would like to thank Patton"s Funeral home for their tremendous support in aiding with the arrangements to transport Danny home from Florida. Patton's Funeral Director, Michelle Young, was beyond helpful, supportive and made herself available at any time for any need. A very special thanks to, Freddie Courtney, for the heartfelt words in remembrance of Danny. We would also like to thank Wilf Edmond and Tanya Jamieson for the beautiful readings, St. Luke's United Church choir and music director, Alice MacLeod, for the wonderful hymns, and Reverend Robert Biggar for his spiritual words. A special thanks to the ladies of the UCW for the beautiful lunch and refreshments in the Fellowship Hall following the burial service. Leona would personally like to extend a sincere gratitude to pallbearers, Winston Kelloway, Brad Mills, Wilf Edmond, Kent Morford, Gordon Brann, Jim Kennedy, and Darrel Thomas, who were also life long friends of Danny's whom he thought the world of.
