SABINE, WINIFRED AMIE - (June 11, 1917 - June 9, 2011) - The passing of Winifred Amie Sabine of Perth-Andover, NB occurred on June 9, 2011 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital at the age of 93. Born in New Denmark, NB she was the daughter of the late Carl and Viola Hansen. Winifred is survived by two daughters Joan Sabine and Judy Boone of Perth-Andover; two sons Wayne (Dylis) Sabine of Tilley and John (Bonita) Sabine of Hampton; six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Beatrice Hansen of Fredericton; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, husband John Sabine, one brother Lawrence Hansen. Graduated from Normal School in Fredericton and taught for many years in Carleton and Victoria Counties. Her interest were her church teaching Sunday School and most of all loved her family beyond words.
Resting at White's Funeral Home, 20 Industrial Park St. Perth-Andover with visiting hours on Sunday June 12th from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 13th at 3 pm from the Perth-Andover Wesleyan Church. Interment in the Larlee Creek Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Perth-Andover Wesleyan Church or Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
