Bernadette “Bunnie” (nee Gouchie) Henri
81 years Thursday, June 16th, 2011 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital
Beloved wife of Mozart “Mo” Henri predeceased, former Sudbury Police Officer. Survived by her son Robert Henri (Veronica) and his children Patrick and Victoria, stepson David Henri (Louise) and his children John, Nicole and Kim. Dear daughter of Albert and Edna (LeBlanc) Gouchie predeceased. Survived by her sisters Theresa Cormier (Art predeceased), Marion Wendler (Jim), Doreen Bouillon (Gerry) all of Sudbury, brothers Raymond Gouchie (Lisette), Gerald Gouchie (Erla) of Amherst, Nova Scotia, Donald Gouchie (Marg) of Sault Ste Marie. Predeceased by her brother Earl Gouchie (Pat) of Amherst, Nova Scotia. Loved by many nieces and nephews.
Bunnie worked for many years at Lavignes Ladies Wear as well as managing Ellen’s Place and the Charm Shop. She was devoted to her loving family especially her precious grandchildren.
The family expresses its thank you to the medical and nursing staff, 3rd and 5th Floors, at the Sudbury Regional Hospital for their excellent care.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday June 25th 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church (591 Brennan Rd, Sudbury) with a friendly tribute and light lunch afterwards at the attached parish hall at 11:00 AM. All who knew Bunnie are very welcome!
Cremation with interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery.
